It had been ages since I donned smokey eyes until I recently tried out the Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in 07 Smokey Passion ($40). The colors are soft, fully pigmented, and blend harmoniously well together with lasting adherence. While the price may be a tad expensive, it's worth the splurge if quality is what you're looking for. The darkest shade (my favorite) in this quad looks black in the picture above, but it looks more of a deep, deep chocolate brown in person. This quad is perfect for the Fall smokey look!
