Manic Panic Cosmetics Collection Review
A collection of edgy and bold rock-goth palettes with the most distinct and seductive unconventional looks in mind; each can be tailored to one’s level of personal expression.
Kits feature one-of-a-kind instructions direct from Tish & Snooky, showcasing a progression of hot looks ranging innocently from PG-13 to Rated X.
Palettes include dramatic and seductive eye statements, deathly luscious lip lacquers, and complete looks for the ultimate decadent outing.
The Lip Locked Lipstick in Vampire's Kiss ($8) is one of the best lipsticks I've ever used. I usually don't wear darker lipstick in the winter time since I don't think it looks flattering on me due to my skin tone being much lighter. However, I decided to take a shot in the dark and try out something different for a change. I'm so glad that I did since I receive a lot of compliments whenever I wear this particular shade. Despite the price, it is not cheap in quality since it is deeply pigmented and has strong staying power.
The Lip Locked Lipstick is available in even more bold and daring colors: Postmortem (black) and Deadly Night (plum). I'm quite sure that fearless and gorgeous Beth Ditto would approve!
I decided to shy away from my usual shades of nail polish (pale pink, green, and blue) opted for the Extreme Nail Lacquer ($4) in Hellfire and Immortal.
The Hellfire doesn't quite look like the shade that is shown in the picture above, but it is just as gorgeous! Just not as red as I was expecting it to be. On the site, they describe it as being red nail polish with black glitter. At least, that is what I think they mean by red/black glitter in parenthesis beside the name of the nail polish. Instead, it is black nail polish with red glitter and it is stunning! Either way it would be a rocking color to wear on Valentine's Day. The Immortal is a basic black nail polish that is a must have for anyone who doesn't want to get lost at a sea of followers. If you prefer a little glitter with your black nail polish, the Heavy Metal shade is also available.
The Extreme Nail Lacquer is also available in Bloody Thirsty, which is a beautiful shade of plum.
The Eye Wear Glossy Mascara ($8) has become one of my favorite mascaras. It gives my lashes a dramatic impact by making them look longer, thicker, and glossier without giving me the dreaded raccoon look. At $8, this is a beauty steal that is hard to pass up since it isn't easy finding a good quality mascara at this price.
