As young twenty-something women looking for love in New York, ILARI creator Hillary Schneider unintentionally designed her own personal "Love Potion Number Nine" - a complex mixture of scented oil, body lotion, and mist that individually captured her attention over the years. Wearing all the layered fragrances rendered Hillary magnetic - being stopped in shops, restaurants, and on the streets became the norm for her. One night, outside a downtown restaurant, an attractive fellow diner remarked on her scent saying, "I could fall in love with women who smells beautiful as you..." Alas, Hillary married this gentleman and the rest is history! It isn't doubtful that she wore this perfume on her wedding day. ILARI became the opus of Hillary's quest to package that unforgettable magic and share it women everywhere.
Jasmine doesn't rank as one of my top favorite scents. Amongst Sandalwood, Musk, Ebony Wood, and Orange Blossom; Jasmine is one of the top notes in this perfume though. However, there are no drawbacks when it comes to this scent since my experience has been enchanting as well. It is sophisticated, romantic, and dainty; which makes it perfect to wear on any occasion. The dry down of this fragrance is equally bewitching as well. It is subtle, yet mysterious. This is truly a scent that sweet dreams are made of. It wouldn't come as a surprise that a man would fall for a woman wearing this scent. At $65 for a 0.35 fl. oz. bottle, you can probably make history as well.
ILARI is available at Barneys New York, LA, Chicago stores, Barneys.com, and at http://www.ilarinyc.com.
