The net proceeds of this special edition candle will feed one orphaned child for one week. A keepsake bookmark telling the story of an orphaned child is enclosed in each box.
With the Seasonal Special Edition Candle Program, $5.25 will be given to support the mission of Rice Bowls. On average, $5.25 will feed one child for one week. The Special Edition Candle is a seasonal program beginning on June 1, 2010 and continuing through December 15, 2010.
Rice Bowls currently gives more than $0.70 per dollar directly to the orphanages with a long term goal of giving $0.90 per dollar received.
