KettleWorx Review
I had the opportunity to try out the KettleWorx Ultra 10 ($99.95). This includes a 10 lb kettlebell along with a hefty DVD collection: Introduction & Sample Workout, KettleWorx Core, KettleWorx Cardio, KettleWorx Resistance, Fast Fat Burn, Fast Abs, Legs & Thighs, Butt & Hips, Arms & Shoulders and Chest & Back.
I honestly never heard of kettlebells prior to this. I'm a work at home mom, and I don't usually have the opportunity to go to the gym. I really don't have anyone to watch my toddler at times. I'm glad that I discovered kettlebell workouts. I needed something to focus on my core and cardio. I LOVE that I am able to squeeze in a speedy workout for just 20 minutes, 3 times a week. That’s one hour during the week days.
Late February, I first started out with the Core DVD. My body was so, so sore for the first few days that I honestly didn't think I could muster up the courage to do another workout. However, I did. I tried out the Legs & Thighs the second time around. Same thing, but as time went by, my body got used to the vigorous workouts. They felt torturous the first few times, but I actually look forward to them now. I now find them to be fun. Over a month has passed since using the KettleWorx. I feel more confident, energetic and flexible. Most importantly, I've shed some of the winter weight (my nemesis) that was putting me in a funk.
