Review: Tarte Cosmetics

This spring Tarte Cosmetics is excited to extend their complexion range with new shades of their best-selling products. They'll be introducing five new shades of Tarte's Smooth Operator™ Natural Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($36). Additionally, they'll be giving smooth operator's packaging a makeover; now, you'll be able to see the shade range with the easy-to-use component. They're also adding two news shades to their Provocateur™ Natural Mineral Based Pressed Powder with SPF 8 ($30) line.



Their tinted moisturizer is the best tinted moisturizer I've ever tried! It may not be a foundation, but it works well at concealing blemishes and dark circles. It also provides excellent moisture without infuriating my skin and triggering unnecessary acne breakouts.

The micro-treated pigments diffuse fine lines and wrinkles, giving an even, natural finish. Great for all skin types because it's hypoallergenic, oil-free, fragrance-free and vitamin-rich to keep skin hydrated. But this weightless water-resistant formula is no lightweight.

With just a dab here and a dab there, their powder provides excellent coverage without making your make-up looking cakey. And, the case is simply gorgeous!
