I received the Platform 1" Styling Iron ($195) and I can honestly say it is worth breaking the bank! It heats up in no time. Also, you can adjust the heat setting up to 450°F. This is is a big plus! I had a flat iron that didn't have an adjustable heat setting and it fried my hair, making it appear dry and frizzy. Not with this flat iron! It flattens my hair flawlessly - no snags at all. There are currently no drawbacks. Pin-straight and shiny hair - what more can a woman ask for?
Some would wonder why I have more than one flat iron. Past experiences have taught me to keep more than one on hand in case one goes out. ;)
