Review: Erno Laszlo
In 1937, Dr. Laszlo ventured West. Over the next three decades, he counted the biggest movie stars among his clients - from Greta Garbo and Ava Gardner to Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. Nevertheless, in 1939, he chose to settle in New York City and open his posh U.S. institute on Fifth Avenue.
Erno Laszlo was nothing short of a revolutionary. The Hungarian dermatologist was the first to:
- Formulate sunscreens
- Introduce products with pH balance
- Design water-based products for oily skin
- Develop skincare for men
- Create a skincare program for teens
- Prescribe personalized skincare rituals
The Multi-pHase Blusher ($38) is my all-time favorite blush at the moment. Not only this blusher blends in easily and gives me a natural look, but it is so pigmented and has a strong staying power! You can apply it on your brow bones, cheekbones, and down the middle of the nose to accentuate the planes of your face. Plus, it works with any skin tone.
The Multi-pHase Bronzer ($38) is not a disappointing product either. I didn't think I would like this bronzer since a few bronzers I've used in the past made my skin look orange-ish. Of course, this was not the case at all with this product. It looks as natural as the Multi-pHase Blusher. It has the perfect amount of shimmer to give your skin a sun-kissed glow. You can apply this bronzer to brow bones, cheekbones, and down the middle of the nose to accentuate the planes of your face.
