Because Reviva has been a “quiet” company, most of you are probably not aware that Reviva was also the first in Health Food Stores with:
1. A milder, non-drying program for acne
2. Elastin
3. Topical trace minerals
4. Glycolic Acid (from dermatologist source)
5. Hyraluronic Acid
6. Vitamin P for spider veins and rosacea
7. A new - ingredient-complex for under eye dark circles and others
Although Health Food Stores are Reviva’s major distribution channel, Reviva’s origins are actually in professional skin care salons. Reviva’s founder, Stephen Strassler, is one of America’s earliest Aestheticians.
I had the opportunity to try out the Collagen Fibre Eye Pad Kit w/Myoxinal ($34). It is very similar to skynIceland's Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels ($45), but it is cheaper and just as effective. The Myoxinal is derived from Hibiscus flowers, and this ingredient helps relax tissue for an anti-wrinkle, Botox like effect. The kit also includes their Energizing Gel, which includes an almost 100% Hawaiian seaweed extract. This extract contains strong negative ions that produce an electric-type energy that stimulates skin cells. It can not only be used with the eye pads, but it can also be used under any night cream or mask to help your skin reap the extra benefits.
The results are instantaneous (undereye area looks much younger in appearance), but temporary. Consistent usage can bring cumulative benefits. I'm out of the eye pads now, but I still have a good amount of the Energizing Gel left. I like to wear it under my Natural Being Manuka Honey Night Cream occasionally. The Collagen Fibre Eye Pad Kit w/Myoxinal is an excellent product to use if you have a special occasion to go to (i.e.: a date, wedding or prom).
